SCN's objective was to design a luxury wine bottle for Oravida that highlights Hawke's Bay, New Zealand’s premium wine region. We chose a black label to convey class, luxury and prestige. Accented with silver, gold and red foils to differentiate the three varieties of wines, the label also features a topographical map of Hawke’s Bay subtly placed as a textured background. Raised-ink printing highlighted the region while maintaining the luxurious image of the bottle.
